The Meadow Pointe BOS has approved the use of PVC Mail Box Posts as an option for residents. There is a sample of the PVC post at the clubhouse. Maintaining your mailbox and post is a part of the deed restrictions.
Tips to Clean and Repaint: Use a mixture of 2-4 ounces of bleach+ 1 TBS dish soap+ 1 gallon of warm water. Use a rag and scrub brush to clean off dirt and grime.
If you are looking to repaint your mail post yourself, below are the approved colors. Post - Behr - Pecan Sandie 700C-3 or Glidden - Beige GLC111
Trim - Adventure PPG1151-6.
The colors are available at Home Depot. Request the mail post paint for Meadow Pointe One!
If you are in need of mail post replacement, email your Meadow Pointe Community Council. They can provide the newly approved pvc posts. Contact them at: MP1CC@YAHOO.COM for pricing and scheduling. Quoted price includes PVC post, numbers, emblems and dismantling of the old post to make it trash can ready. New and refurbished boxes available as well. The council gets the posts from Ron (813.431.1901), a MPIII resident.
