Meadow Pointe 1 Community Council (MPCC)
MPCC Mission
As a volunteer group of residents, we strive to work with the Meadow Pointe CDD to promote a sense of community spirit along with a feeling of pride within our villages.
Description
The MPCC is a group of volunteers working with and for the residents of the community. The funds raised through our events and projects are put back into the community via purchase ideas from the residents, the MPCC and the CDD board.
Meadow Pointe I is made up of 11 villages with 1458 homes. The Meadow Pointe Community Council (MPCC) is a group of residents from these 11 villages who volunteer an hour or so a month to add value to their community. Some of our projects include planning and hosting the annual community fair, decorating the village entrances during the Christmas holiday season, cleaning and painting mailbox posts and creating welcome baskets for our new MPI homeowners. The MPCC collaborates with the CDD on these and other projects.
All of the funds raised by the MPCC are reinvested back into our community. Over the past several years we have purchased lane ropes for the pool, padded chairs and folding tables for the clubhouse, helped update and decorate the club house, and most recently, purchased a treadmill and exercise bike for the workout room.
Meetings
The MPCC meets monthly at the clubhouse in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. If you would like to get involved in making a difference in your community, come to the next meeting, or contact your village rep for more information. We’d be happy to have you join our group. You can also contact us via email at mp1cc@yahoo.com.
