MP1 Racqutball & Fitness Center Rules
Eligibility for Use
- Meadow Pointe One, Three, and Four CDD residents who are at least 18 years of age.
- MP One, Three, and Four CDD residents between 8 and 13 years of age who are accompanied by a parent or guardian who has signed a waiver of liability.
- MP One, Three, and Four CDD residents between 14 and 17 years of age whose parent or guardian has signed a waiver of liability.
- Nonresidents at least 18 years of age who have purchased a daily use pass or an annual membership in accordance with paragraph 1.14, Meadow Pointe CDD Rules of Procedures.
- Nonresidents between 8 and 13 years of age who are accompanied by a parent or guardian who has signed a waiver of liability. Parent or guardian also has to purchase a daily use or annual membership in accordance with paragraph 1.14, Meadow Pointe CDD Rules of Procedures.
- Nonresidents between 14 and 17 years of age whose parent or guardian has signed a waiver of liability. Parent or guardian also has to purchase a daily use or annual membership in accordance with paragraph 1.14, Meadow Pointe CDD Rules of Procedures.
- Residents may be accompanied by one guest in the fitness center and by three guests in the racquetball court.
- Commercial use (e.g. personal trainers for hire, conducting sessions) of the facilities is prohibited without prior approval of the Board of Supervisors.
Racquetball Court Reservations
- Court may only be reserved 24 hours in advance.
- Phone-in reservations will be taken between 9 AM and 9 PM.
- Only one reservation may be made for any single day. Each individual is limited to three reservations per week.
- Reservations are for one hour periods, beginning at the top of each hour.
- Reservations will be held until 10 minutes after the hour. After that, the reservation will be surrendered to walk-in players.
- Please cancel reservations as early as possible to allow other players to reserve the court.
Rules
- All users must check-in at the front desk, with valid picture ID with address (preferably a driver’s license), before entering the facilities.
- No food or drinks (except bottled water in the fitness center) are permitted in the facilities.
- Users must wipe down each piece of equipment in the fitness center when finished using it.
- Limit use of each piece of equipment, when other users are waiting, as follows:
- Treadmills, bicycles and elliptical equipment will be relinquished after one hour of use.
- Strength equipment will be relinquished after 20 minutes on each piece of equipment.
- Proper attire, including shirts, shorts and sneakers are required at all times in the fitness room.
- Players must try to avoid striking the walls or floors of the racquetball court.
- When time is up, players must exit the court. If the court is not reserved for the next hour and there are no walk-in players, playing time may be extended up to one hour, at the discretion of CDD staff.
Racquetball Court Equipment and Attire
- Non-marking soled shoes, which have not been used for other purposes, must be worn at all times on the court. (No street shoes)
- The racquet must include a cord and must be securely attached to the players’ wrist.
- Only approved balls may be used. (i.e. no tennis balls, basketballs)
- Racquetball safety goggles must be worn at all times on the court.
- Gym pants or shorts and shirt must be worn at all times on the court.
Failure to follow all the rules or instructions by CDD staff will result in your immediate removal from the facilities.
